Wylarah is seeking 2 Farm Hands to join their crew.
AACo’s Wylarah is a breeding and backgrounding property for AACo’s Full Blood Wagyu herd, located 15km from Surat, the nearest service town, and 450km west of Brisbane, Queensland.

The role of a Farm Hand is to carry out general farm duties as directed by the Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out duties in a planned way – following work schedules, organizing materials and equipment prior to commencing work
- Respond to problems as they occur
- Perform routine daily checks & services on plant
- Operate machinery as required and complete pre starts prior to operations
- Welding MIG & gas use
- Carry out irrigation procedures
- Carry out workshop procedures and maintain workshop floors
- Prepare and apply chemicals, keeping record of any chemical usage

Knowledge and Skills:
- Current Drivers License
- Demonstrated competency in all tasks reasonably required of a farm hand
- Plant operations/tractor ticket or licenses
- Ag chem. certificate
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working under pressure
- Written and verbal communication skills
