An exciting opportunity to join the Global Corporate Bank Australia and New Zealand MNC team based in Sydney, covering multinational clients located in Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for an exceptional professional with the ability to grow our footprint and ensure we continue to deliver a best in class service and solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support senior Bankers with marketing in-scope Banking products (including: traditional credit product, structured credit, Foreign Exchange, Flow derivatives, Commodities) and all non-Investment Banking products (including Cash Management Services and Trade Services)
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan’s broad array of corporate banking products and to help convert client analysis into concrete financial solutions
  • Support Senior Bankers in conducting industry research as well as update on regulation and macro economy
  • Co-ordinate internally with onboarding team and product partners to work on client Know Your Client (KYC) standards for renewals, remediation and onboarding of new clients. This includes detailed client screening and associated disposition processes
  • Support Senior Bankers in client engagement and new transaction processes end-to-end, development of forward looking new business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships
  • Co-ordinate internally across line of business and support Senior Bankers in delivering a best in class client services
  • Manage internal due diligence requirements and administration tasks to accelerate sales process

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Minimum 2 year work experience in a corporate banking front office role and has a sound knowledge of corporate banking products including credit, cash management, trade services, debt and capital markets as well as Foreign Exchange
  • Understand the local regulatory and market / industry landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Strong team player who can equally contribute independently and able to work effectively across geographies and time zones
  • Can build trust with clients and internal constituencies
  • Possesses sound commercial sense and can perform under pressure; Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
  • Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
  • Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
