We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join the Finance team at our Melbourne CBD office.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide accounting support in all areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, management reporting and month end duties. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Generating weekly invoices and any associated credit notes
- Resolving queries and issues by liaising with both internal and external parties
- Preparing and distributing management reports
- Processing journal entries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing and coding Accounts Payable
- Ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required
- Banking
Desired skills and attributes:
The right candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic and hands on team player and demonstrate the following:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Use of accounting packages (Great Plains an advantage)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and the initiative to resolve issues and liaise with management
