The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Information Technology professional to join our Information Technology team on a part-time basis (2- 3 days per week). Reporting to the Head of Technology & Innovation, you will be responsible for supporting our internal users and general maintenance of hardware and software through collaborating technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Exposure to various duties and responsibilities in the field of Technical Support.
  • Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming requests, tickets and walk-ups from users.
  • Following-up on routine user issues and escalating problems where necessary.
  • Analyzing and evaluating incident reports, proactively making recommendations to improve service and improve user satisfaction.
  • Reporting faults on all end user compute devices, servers, infrastructure and AV.
  • Undertaking IT projects as instructed by the Head of IT.

What you Offer
The successful candidate will have minimum of 1 year, previous IT Helpdesk / IT Support experience or be studying towards a Certificate or Degree in Information Technology and will bring enthusiasm to learn on the job. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft platforms and an understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes is preferred, not required.
You will be a self-starter and won’t be afraid to show initiative. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and the ability to demonstrate initiative and a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude.
